How do I determine my Nurture bra size?

If you are currently pregnant...

It is most accurate to take your bra measurement or order the bra size you are wearing at 8 months pregnant as you typically return to this size 4-8 weeks postpartum.

If ordering sooner, we recommend buying a bra that is one band size larger and 1-3 cup sizes larger than your “regular” bras. For example, if you were a 32B before pregnancy, you would order a 34C, 34D or 34DD, depending on what size you have grown into thus far.

If you are currently breastfeeding...

Determine your Nurture Bra size by following the steps below:

Step 1 - Take your Under Bust Measurement

Without a bra on, stand in front of a mirror and wrap a fabric tape measure directly underneath your bust, as shown in the image below, making sure it is parallel front and back.  Pull the tape measure tight and take note of your under the bust measurement.

Step 2  - Determine your band width

Step 3  - Take your Full Bust Measurement

With a standard bra on (not a sports bra), stand in front of a mirror and wrap a fabric tape measure around the fullest part of your breasts, as seen in the image below, making sure it is parallel front and back.  No need to pull the tape measure tight, just have it rest securely and take note of your full bust measurement in inches.

Step 4  - Find your Nurture Bra size

Take your band width and full bust measurement to find your suggested Nurture Bra size.

Is your size unavailable?

If your bra size is unavailable, and it falls in the range of 32C - 38H, we may have an alternative size available.  To explain, these alternative sizes, commonly known as "sister sizes", share the same cup volume as your ideal size, but will differ in fit around the band.  If you are selecting a "sister size down", it means that you are choosing a smaller band size + bigger cup size. In this case, you may need to use a bra extender.  If you are selecting a "sister size up", it means that you are choosing a larger band size + smaller cup size.  In this case, you can achieve your desired fit by tightening the bra hooks!

Let's find your sister size!

Locate your unavailable size from the chart below, and choose a bolded size either directly above (sister size up), or below (sister size down). This size, if available to order, is your new Nurture Bra Size!
